Frankie and the Hynds Foundation Announce Winners of Through the Lens - a National School Property Photography Competition
Auckland, New Zealand — Frankie and the Hynds Foundation are proud to announce the official winners of the School Property Photography Competition.
The joint initiative challenged students nationwide to discover and document the unique architecture, vibrant community spaces, and natural environments of their school grounds.
Submissions were evaluated on visual storytelling, technical quality, and creative perspective. The panel selected top honors across both primary and secondary divisions, as well as the overall top-performing regional zones.

Celebrating Student Vision
Judges highlighted the remarkable diversity of submissions, noting how students transformed everyday school environments into captivating visual stories—ranging from historic classroom details to expansive sports fields and natural garden corridors.
"We were blown away by the creative depth and technical skill shown by students across every age group," said Georgina Fenwicke, Frankie. "Seeing school properties through their eyes highlights the value of youth perspective and visual storytelling. We can’t wait to do it again next year"
