Every great community, thriving workplace, and successful project relies on them: the unsung heroes, the constant helpers, the people who always go the extra mile without ever asking for a round of applause.

You know exactly who we’re talking about. They are the true Legends.

This season, we think it’s about time they got some much-deserved recognition. That’s why we are incredibly excited to announce our "Bit of a Legend" Campaign, running from Monday 5th October through November 13th 2026!

What is a "Bit of a Legend"?

‍

A Bit of a Legend is someone who brings positivity, hard work, and kindness to the table every single day.

They are the colleague who stays late to help you finish a project, or the contractor who ensures a job is done perfectly safely and on time.

A Bit of a Legend is someone you can count on.

‍

Who Can Get Involved?

‍

We want to hear stories from all corners of our community in New Zealand! We are calling on the following groups to look around and nominate the standout individuals in their daily lives:‍

• ‍💼 Industrial Teams: Got a coworker who keeps the team’s spirits high? A manager who truly leads by example? Nominate the folks in your office or shop who make the 9-to-5 feel a whole lot brighter.‍
• 🏫 Schools: Is there an administrator, caretaker or contractor who makes your school environment a better place to learn and grow? We want to hear about them
• ‍👷 Contractors & Trades: The job site wouldn't run smoothly without you. Whether it’s a reliable subcontractor, a safety-first site manager, or a supplier who always pulls through in a pinch, let’s highlight the hard workers in the trades.
